From 7 November, a tram with a design dedicated to Latvia will operate in Riga
In honour of Latvia, which celebrates its 104th birthday, a special tram design with the Latvian flag has been created. The new-look low-floor tram will be on the streets of Riga from 7 November until spring 2023.
Dž. Innusa, Chairwoman of the Board of Rīgas Satiksme: "In November, on Latvia's Birthday and the month of statehood, Rīgas Satiksme presents a specially designed tram to itself, all the citizens of Riga and its guests. Let this greeting on the 104th proclamation day of the Republic of Latvia be a reminder that we are all part of Latvia and together we make Latvia. Long live Latvia!"
